We draw it, then we build it.
Most firms do one or the other. A designer hands over a folder and leaves; a builder starts without a plan. Fix Your House does both — one of us leads the design, the other leads the build — and we manage the trades who do the work and stay responsible for the result.
That is why the design is free of charge when we also carry out the build. The drawings are not a product we sell; they are how we make sure the job is right before anything is cut, using in-house 3D visualisation and BIM.

Layout, light, materials and finishes are worked out on paper first, by our Head of Interior Design. Then we manage the trades who carry it out — so there is one company answerable for both the idea and the workmanship.

Bathrooms are where design and plumbing meet, which is the part most firms get wrong. We set out the room, run the pipework, tile it and finish it with the same team, so the falls, the joints and the tile lines all line up.

We visit and measure
The first interior design visit is free of charge. We look at the space properly rather than quoting blind.
Design and a written quote
Design is free when we carry out the build. The figure we quote is the figure you pay, VAT included — no “plus VAT” at the end.
We build it and stay responsible
The trades who turn up are the same people we work with job after job, working to the drawings, with one person at Fix Your House responsible for the job.
Walk through it together
We go round the finished work with you and put right anything you are not happy with.

Before you call
Do you design as well as build?
Yes. Design is led by Niloofar Tootoonchi, our Head of Interior Design, and we then manage the trades who carry out the work and stay responsible for the result. Mohammad Reza Hosseini, who founded the company, leads the build.
Is the design really free?
The design is free of charge when we also carry out the build. If you want the design on its own, we can quote for that separately. The first interior design visit is free either way.
Do you actually answer the phone 24 hours a day?
Yes. 07777 759333 is answered around the clock, including weekends. You can also send photographs on WhatsApp, which often saves a visit on smaller problems.
Which areas do you cover?
Barnet, Edgware, Mill Hill, Hendon, Finchley, Stanmore, Golders Green, Colindale, Burnt Oak, Elstree and Borehamwood. If you are just outside those, call and ask.
How are your quotes presented?
In writing, and the figure we quote is the figure you pay, with VAT included. We do not add “plus VAT” at the end.
Do you take small jobs as well as full renovations?
Yes. A dripping tap and a whole-house renovation are both work, and both get the same team. Smaller jobs are handled through our handyman service.
